I want to tell the real story of your big day. I want to capture those authentic, honest moments that you might otherwise never notice. Like your nervous excitement just minutes before you see each other for the first look. Or the moment when you forget your vows and laugh so hard that snot runs down your lip and your new hubby wipes it away with his hands. The way your parents look at you with pride and a bit of sadness that this day is already here.
When you look back on your wedding photos I want you to remember the people that made it special for you and how you felt in that moment. The details may be pretty but they won’t matter to you when the wedding is just a memory. It will always be the people that you will want to look back on. Your parents, siblings, and your younger selves.
I won’t ask you to fake laugh, recreate moments, or be anything you aren’t. If you are happy, I will capture your effortless smile. If you are having an intimate moment, I will shoot from further away to give you space while you wipe away happy tears. All I ask from my couples is that they be present, enjoy the company of each other and their loved ones, and the rest we will create together.
